Ebay item 12/20/06 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK-120-Roadster-XK-120-Show-Car-Frame-Off-Restore ...
Current bid $25k reserve not met, 3 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Spectacular ‘54 Jaguar XK-120 showing only 52,290 miles. We believe the mileage showing to be the actual mileage! The car has been lovingly restored by the owner of one of the east coasts most reputable and knowledgeable exotic car specialists for his father, who has owned it since 1977! It has been driven very little since the restoration and is still “fresh”. The car still retains its original 3.4 liter alloy 6 cylinder engine with twin S.U. carburetors. The correct (and probably original) 4-speed transmission shifts flawlessly. The entire drive train was completely rebuilt during the restoration. This car is one of the later steel bodied XK-120’s and represents the last model year for this highly desirable classic body style. Although not as rare as the earlier alloy bodied cars, this car represents the height of Jaguar styling (courtesy of Sir William Lyons) and is just as beautiful! This is a highly restored XK-120 that you can actually drive and enjoy.
The interior features gorgeous burgundy leather with matching Wilton carpets. The original gauges, complete with the reverse counter tachometer and 140 mph speedometer, have also been restored and look/function as new. A new black Stayfast canvas convertible top has been installed. The drop in windows have also been completely restored. The car sits on correct belted bias ply tires mounted on the original 16” knock-off wheels. This car is nothing short of AWESOME and will please the most discriminating Jaguar aficionado.
Vehicle Condition
This car is in truly outstanding condition and can be driven anywhere. Drive, show and enjoy! Hundreds of hours went into the body preparation in order to ensure perfection prior to the application of the gorgeous hand-rubbed silver paint. The interior needs NOTHING; cosmetically, the car needs NOTHING and mechanically the car needs NOTHING that we are aware of. Bid with absolute confidence!

I added a previous comment but did not press "add comment" I owned this 120 from 1962 thru 1965 in Hagerstown , Md. I sold it to a foreign car dealer in I think Silver Springs along with a Saab 93 in order to have money to buy a new Morgan. II would like to know where you found it and I can give you some more background info if you wish. It certainly is a beautiful restoration. Andy Leo

Car got about 2012 to Switzerland. Last time I saw the car she was dismantled. Bodynumber is: F 7691 and not F7697! Owner back then was Mr. Opprecht.
