Car to be at Coy's auction 1/10

Auction description:
Lot 321
Registration Number:
EU Taxes paid Chassis Number: 674909
Coys are proud to present this rare matching numbers XK120 roadster in highly original condition. To find such a vehicle untouched in thirty five years is a rare find indeed. Having been taken off the road in 1976, 674909 was barn stored in Pennsylvania, U.S.A, until being discovered earlier this year. It was subsequently bought by the current owner and repatriated back to the UK.

Complete with matching engine block, head and gearbox, this XK120 would make an ideal project for the winter months. In surprisingly complete condition, any new owner would find a restoration a relatively straight forward process. It can not be exaggerated that this car is an important find and with time and attention can be back on the open road after a significant period of time in hibernation.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
