I am the third owner of the car, having purchased it in March of 2005. The second owner, John Stewart, purchased it from Ward Beecher on July 31, 1963 (Mr. Stewart was 18 at the time). The car was Twilight Blue with Duotone Blue interior, and had every Special Equipment component. It also had a pivoting, quick-fill fuel cap but a standard-capacity fuel tank. Mr. Beecher told Mr. Stewart at the time that he had ordered the car with these components from the factory through a personal friendship with Max Hoffman--although there is seemingly no record of this in the car's official build sheet.

I also have a Twilight blue car S672814 OTS SE with duo blue seats. It has all of the SE options. This data is confirmed on the Heritage sheet.
It is very close to the paint colour on 672593. The car is in the process of being restored. I have saved original panels with the Twilight Blue for reference . panels were sent to ICI who have duplicated the colour.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
