Ebay item 8/24/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK120-XK120-Jaguar-Roadster-OTS-XK-120-XK140-XK15 ...
Opening bid $30k, no reserve, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This old Jag has 102976 miles showing on the clock, more than likely correct but who knows!
This Black XK120 is what I would call a driver, it looks like it may have had a partial restoration some years ago (20-25?). It is showing its age in some places or should I say it has a nice patina to it. There are areas where the paint is less than perfect, but no gapping rust holes. The red with tan interior once again has nice patina, the seats, door panels etc have no rips but there is the odd nick here an there and fit problem. The carpet is there but the drivers mat has a rip in it. Top is in working condition with no rips. Has side curtains. Panel fit is average, but doors close and don't fly open as you drive down the road. Chrome is fair to good. Engine seems strong and actually runs very quite, oil pressure around 20 a idle and 45 at speed when hot, no smoke. Normal XK120 minor oil leaks. It has a stainless steel muffler and tail pipe. Trans sounds like a XK120, shifts fine in all gears, even down shifts into second. Suspension and brakes work, doesn't creak and groan, could probably use a set of shocks on the front. Tires look newish. All in all I've seen worse cars and I've seen better, but this is a driver that still presents it self well.
We are selling this car on behalf of the owner who is no longer able to use it. The other reason we have it is that she was backing out of the garage, put her foot on the brake and the pedal went to the floor, with no brakes she ran backward around 25 feet into a small tree. It damaged the trunk, license plate holder, and the rear of the LH fender. We made a new trunk frame, repaired the skin, rebuild and painted the the trunk. We also made a new Lic Plate holder, repaired the bottom of the fender, repainted it and the bumper brackets. The damage was only minor. We also repaired the brakes, by rebuilding the rear wheel cly. and replacing the rear brake lines (the master cly looks like it has been rebuilt recently). We did a few other things like replaced the rear springs (was sagging bad in rear), replace weeping freeze plug, broken engine mount, wiper blades and hood clip.
The Jag starts and runs and drives fine but I have only driven it around 25 miles. I have done my best to present and describe this vehicle as it is, but this is a old piece of machinery and may have defects or problems unknown to me at this time.
Vermont DMV does not provide titles for vehicles older than 15 years old but it does have a PA title with the car. The vehicle will be sold with a bill of sale, this can be used to register or tile a vehicle in most US states.

Car was for sale1994 and 1995 at The Stable, LTD in Gladstone, NJ.
At that time Stable told that it was shown successfully in the mid and late 1980s.
Had 985miles after restoration but I do not know if Stable did the Restauration (but think so).
