Private Party or Dealer: Private Party

This 1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster is a restoration project that has reportedly resided in Texas since 1973. It was purchased by the seller’s family in 1980 and has been in longterm storage for over 30 years. Included with the sale is a period correct non-numbers matching 3.4-liter inline-six and a matching period-correct 4-speed manual gearbox. Items such as the chrome bumpers, interior, and convertible top frame are also reportedly included, and the car is being offered with a clear Texas title.

The body is currently finished in primer with areas of visible filler and rust. A set of fender skirts, the original chrome bumper, and some of the exterior fittings are also included. Both seats and the 4-spoke steering wheel remain installed.

The included 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six wears stamping F3504-8S on the cylinder head and block, and is reported to rotate freely. A 4-speed gearbox, wearing stamping JL 23521 is also included. A replacement red leather interior and replacement convertible top accompany the sale.

Much of the body looks like an xk140, but other parts look like xk120. I wonder if it's a 120 with some 140 parts or the other way around.
