Ebay item 11/16/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1951-Jaguar-XK-120-OTS/292818967824
Current bid: $15,444 reserve not met 7 bids 9 days left in auction, seller 4142bev, 500 miles reported.

Seller's description:
1951 Jaguar XK 120 OTS. This is an award winning Jaguar that runs and drives like new. This is an early 1951 Jaguar which is identified by the original aluminum fan, no front bolts on the cam covers, and the leather door panels. (vinyl was used on the door panels of later Jaguar XK 120 cars.)
Since the Jaguar was restored, it has only been driven less than 500 miles. It is always stored in a heated garage. It has been selected the "Best of Show," "Peoples Choice Award," and numerous "JCNA First Place" Trophies. It is one of the most accurately restored XK 120s in the United States.
This Jaguar 120 OTS was featured on the Discovery Channel program "Wonders of the Automobile," and a DVD of the program featuring this Jaguar is included with the along with several JCNA trophies.
This is a complete number matching Jaguar. The engine, transmission, and rear-end are the original drive train for the Jaguar. It has had the same owner since 1978 and the title is in his name.
The Jaguar is completely rust free, the doors, bonnet, and truck lid align well and open and close properly. Body, doors, and spats are straight. All the gauges work and the Jaguar starts and runs well. It has a new brake master and the original radiator was recently recored and installed with all new hoses. Again, please look closely at all of the photos, and if you have any unanswered questions, please message me or give "J" a call.
Included with the sale are the following parts:
New side curtains, only used for Jaguar shows
Original Service Manual (Not a reprint)
Original spare parts catalogue (Not a reprint)
Grease gun mounted in the engine compartment
Original Jack and handle
Lug wrench
Twist Key (Drues)
DVD of the Discovery Channel program about the Jaguar
Several JCNA trophies.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
