Additional description from above auction:
The matching numbers example offered here received a high quality, frame-off restoration during the 1980s that was more recently freshened. Properly stored and maintained within an esteemed private collection, the Jaguar remains very presentable today, with its elegant lines enhanced by a silver exterior finish, a black canvas top, a burgundy interior and a set of chrome plated wire wheels. A recent short drive confirms no known mechanical faults, and the XK120 comes with an extensive assortment of restoration receipts, a complete spare wheel and tire, a jack, a tire pump, a tool roll and side curtains stored within a correct storage bag.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
