Beautiful example of the simply gorgeous XK 120 OTS. Recently purchased from large private collection where it has been stored and driven sparingly since 1986. Car was totally restored when previous owner purchased it and then was rarely used as he slowly over the years acquired 50 + cars, motor bikes and scooters. He also was an avid Vintage racer as well so most of his collection were museum pieces in a three block long, two story high building in Buffalo, NY. Wonderfully straight, rust free body with nearly 30 year old lacquer paint that still shows fantastic. Has a few small chips here and there but in remarkable shape overall. All chrome work and glass are excellent. Interior is also very nice with all gauges working plus rear leather trim piece being redone now and will be installed before sale. Matching # engine and gearbox are in the car and both perform very strong. We just took out fuel tank and had redone, gave complete tune, rebuilt both carbs, replaced all front suspension bushings, new shocks, complete brake service and flushed/replaced all fluids as car was sitting last three years since previous owners death. Car now starts right up with that lovely raspy sound and everything performs superbly. Original wheels are in great shape with nearly new tires and does come with factory spare which we are replacing now. Underneath the car is very nice with pictures available upon request. Overall an excellent example with great history that can truly be enjoyed now and with some detailing could be a show car again.
