Ebay item 10/5/08
is.It has sat for years and was in the same family . It will turn over by hand and as the pictures show it still has the motor, trans, and rear end installed, as are the brakes, starter, wheels suspension, and steering. It will roll onto a trailer and can be taken to the port of houston if you want to ship overseas. The vin plate is with the paperwork that I have which is alot, but it is all in spanish,I bought it with all these official papers and a bill of sale, which is how it will be sold. I think that with all this documentation ,you should be able to get an american title without too much trouble, but that is your job ,not mine. I have had several jags and currently have three ,I do not have the time and the desire to invest the money to restore this car at this time. The pictures speak for themselves, this car needs substantial body work and interior work, the dash and speedo and tach are missing, the whole interior needs to be purchased new , the grille and bumpers are missing or shot, the radiator is gone, the gas tank and spare tire sheetmetal are gone, there are numerous dents on the top surfaces of the body, etc. now for the good parts, the vin matches the engine, the undercarriage is EXCEllENT!!,as is the firewall and inner fender panels from the front to the backs of the doors which are great, the rear section has rust behind the doors but it is all up high on the body, the door hinges ,hood hinges and trunk hinges are all great and solid, the trunk lid is not too good but maybe it is usable, needs new exhaust but the manifolds are great, the hood is okay and has some cool louvers in it , the floors are great, the convertible top and frame are there but of course the top is shot. etc If you have a good restorer or you want a project for yourself you probably can not lose on this car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
