Current bid $5,100 reserve not met, 3 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
I'm almost 80 years of age, so some of my toys must go.I looked for a Jag like this one, all my life. This is a 1951 XK120 OTS Jaguar Roadster. It has had 4 owners. The last one had it over 35 years, and was always dry garaged. In the1980s it was restored, stripped and painted a beautiful Jaguar Red,(lacquer) with bisquit Connally leather interior. The seats are excellent. The interior vinyl was recently redone, including the trunk and battery area.Carpet is excellent as is the top, side curtains, and tonneau cover that are all black, with chrome frames New chrome top arms are included, as well as Tower bolts, and nuts.(stripped).This Jag starts immediatly, is quiet, cool, and with excellent oil pressure. It does not smoke. and has no known problems. Like all good cats, it will mark it's spot. Only the clock fails to work. Recent work includes entire new front end parts, and rubber, new dash mirror, rear brake cylinders,( new front ones go with car ) sending unit, thermostat, 71/2 inch halogen Tri-Bar headlights,Rear springs and gaiters, optional 16 inch new steering wheel, New wide whitewall Diamond tires. Tach cable. No lead, or Bondo, no rust. No dents, wrecks, or waves anywhere. All gaps are very good. Doors close well, do not sag, and have not been messed with. Sills are excellent, with no rust, or holes. All numbers match ID plate if you care about that. There is a weather tight, well made, well hidden, metal storage box, that holds about 3 quarts of whatever. It is easily accessable, IF you know the secret. I will divulge it to only the buyer. As the pictures show, this is a straight, clean, gorgeous car that is 55 years old. In spite of my description, there are some nicks, here and there, but it was not even washed for the pictures. No warrenty of any type is offered. This is an outstanding, clean Jaguar with no apologies offered. It could easily be a show car, if that is what you want. Shows like new. It is in unbelievable condition. No rot, rust, waves, or dents anywhere, All running gear, and transmission are quiet and work perfectly.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
