COLOR - RED

TRANS - 4 SPEED

Very early production roadster number 807. Look at the clean lines of the XK 120 open 2 seater. This vehicle has been well maintained and a very collectible classic.

Car is now for sale at Sports Classics in Sheffield, England, £60,000.

For sale 1950 early steel body XK120 Roadster Matching numbers.

Sports classics in Sheffield is very pleased to be able to offer this excellent 1950 early steel body XK120 Roadster with matching numbers.

This is a partial project basically for re commissioning.

The car is generally in a good state and will take very little to be back in use, the hood frame is present but will need a new cover.

The heritage certificate is on its way but the chassis plate is readable (670807) and confirms engine number W2168-8 on both the engine number and block along with body number F2033 which remarkably is still on the car.

The vehicle comes from a senior collector who has 20 XK’s and gradually we will be purchasing them all.

The car is on its way to New jersey and will be in the UK in around 4 weeks.

The car will be UK registered on arrival and delivery will be free on our own transport to UK mainland.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
