Current bid $28,600 reserve not met, 21 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    1950 Jaguar XK120 OTS
    Chassis # 670490

Chassis # 490 is an early production specimen, which was manufactured on July 19th 1950 and delivered to Hoffman, New York, on August 14th 1950. It has been in the hands of its current owner for the past 20 years and has covered less than 3,000 miles during that time.

Particular to this early car is the original cast aluminum fan, no front camshaft cover studs, no heater, no turn signals and no foot well vents.

There are also separate front parking lights and the spare appears to be the original.

Upon our visual and mechanical inspection, the car started right up, idled smoothly, revved well and sounded great.

The overall presentation of this automobile is nice. The chrome on the bumpers is good and appears to be original. The paint still has an appealing shine and luster, but is starting to chip in places.

The undercarriage is strong and fine as our pictures will attest.

Shifting is smooth, and the mechanicals have been gone over recently, including new brake master cylinder, rebuilt carburetors, reconditioned fuel pump and two new batteries.

This car also just passed the strict Delaware safety inspection.

Bidders have the rare opportunity to purchase a very early body style Jaguar sports car that they can just get in, turn the key and drive.

    Vehicle location: Wilmington, DE 19806

    Estimate: $70,000 - $80,000
