Heritage Notes
The car was registrated as far as I know in California since day one, so it might have been transfered as it often happened at this time when they didn't have any car available... Current color is different, but we intend to restore it like original condition

This car was sold from jaguar central - corona CA from Mike Cummins.
It is on the way to france (normandy)
I have bought this car to him on january, the 26 th 2006
Engine number is W 1780-8
I don't have the other numbers for the moment, and the title only mention 1950, but not exact date.
I'll tell you as soon as I have more informations.
Please let me know if you have any kind of informations about this car and also its history (former owners, original colour...etc) or anything else.
I will see when the car arrives in france which kind of restoration to do, it seems mechanical is good, mike has redone break system and changed the steering wheel since the photos you have.
Best regards,
Gregory CARON

I will fullfill the description as soon as I receive the trust heritage certificate.
If anyone have interesting information about the car, please e.mail me!
I'm hardly looking for original engine, so if you have any information to permit me to restore this early examplary as original, please help me.
It was originally a spat disc wheels, so I'm looking for a set of disc wheels also.
Thanks

I had no choice for interior color in xkdata file, so I chose dark blue...but as far as I know, and as it is written 'blue' on JDHT, it is 'blue' 1950, and it is more greyish than blue, and rather light one... to be more precise :)

IN A RECENT BUNCH OF JAGUAR ENGINES I AQUIRED I FOUND YOUR ENGINE NUMBER TO BE ON ONE OF THE ENGINES (W1780-8). IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS ENGINE IT IS COMPLETE, AND IN GOOD SHAPE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN SETTING MOST OF ITS LIFE NO MAJOR DAMAGE . THE ONLY THING MISSING ARE THE VALVE COVERS..
