Now being offered in the U.S. (Andover, Mass.) in Hemmings Motor News under XK 120 at undisclosed price. Photos show Belgian type front license plate and write up says:
1950 Jaguar XK120 Gasoline Transmission: Manual Horsepower: 210 HP, Very early steel body . Manufactured 29th june 1950 .Chassis 670390 ( LHD ). This car is 100% matching number, it has been professionally restored ( 1200 hours ) from the chassis Specifications: Cylinder head ( the original one ) has been modified to C type specification with fast road/rally camshafts ,big valves , tappet guide hold down kit , it has been modified to use unlead fuel, composite head gasket. 9.5:1 powermax pistons , uprated oil pump ( high output ) , uprared water pump , flywheel has been lightened ( 6lb ), Inlet manifold has been modified and polished for Sand Cast 2 Carburettors Engine has been fully balanced . The engine develops now 210HP The original gearbox ( same as on Alloy cars ) has been reconditioned and we have fitted an hydraulic clutch system. New stainless steel exhaust Front and rear suspension have been totally overhauled New brakes system ( using balanced drums and Ferodo 3065 shoes at 210 ) ENV differential has been overhauled to the highest standard specification. Uprated radiator core Uprated anti-roll bar ( 7/8 dia ) Five new Michelin 600 x 16 Pilote X tyres Lightweight high output starter motor Overhauled dynamo All gauges have been restored and calibrated . Speedometer is in KPH New wiring harness .Important notice : A race-rally pedal box system has been fitted on the car which gives much extended leg room . No problem for a tall drivers. This car has been prepared for race and rally.
