Purchased car from estate of second owner. They owned from at least mid 1970's. Car was purchased from original owner in Los Angeles and driven for a few years and put away in 1980. I purchased the car from the estate and removed from their garage where it has sat since 1980. Rehabbing the car to be tour ready for events like the Colorado Grand. Really solid original car with one repaint.

A delightful find.

And how excellent to see pictures where someone has bothered to put up some captions.

New owner has a most interesting name !

Jeremy B. Thank you. To be clear; no relation. I continue to work on the car and hope to have it running and driving by summer. We've started it to do compression tests, etc and all in order. Watching the BaT car now and had been thinking maybe sending this one to BaT one day once complete. Too nice to restore I think but others might disagree. Cheers!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
