I recently purchased in US a pair of original alloy spats, numbered 58, very probably originally fitted on this car ( the alloy spats are numbered on body number ), with 3 layers of old colors , and the original one , first layer , seems to be silver. They come from Illinois area. The car 670037 had Canada as first destination .

SORRY possibly a mistake ! 'cause the spats numbered as 58 , were fitted on 2 alloy cars we can say , both with body number that finishes with 58, the other car was red so possibly the layer of red-oxid could be instead the original red color of "second" car.

In the late 1980s, the XK120 came from the USA to Sweden, where it underwent a complex complete restoration. It was then handed over to a new owner. The owner returned to the USA with the vehicle, where the Jaguar was driven with Swedish license plates. Finally, in 2000, the car came to Europe and found an owner in Austria, who meticulously looked after the rare piece for around 23 years and drove it regularly.

Regarding "matching numbers", it should be mentioned that the engine block was swapped very early on (Hertitage Trust W10066-8 to W5032). The reason for this is not known. However, it is a series-matched engine.

"Matching colors" is identical due to the paintwork, but the interior was changed from red to blue-black during the restoration in Sweden.

There is an authentic photo description of the restoration in the form of an album. Technically, the vehicle was regularly serviced and repaired when necessary.

The vehicle has Austrian papers and a historical registration. The offer includes the original operating manual, the Heritage Trust, as well as a dark blue hood and tarpaulin in perfect condition. If you are interested, a valuation report can be commissioned.
