the screen pillars should be a one-piece casting (including the hook bit) these are easy to spot due to their large rubber mouldings at the base. (i have seen these in white) as far as i know,though,the later type is fully interchangable (with the appropriate rubber) After all,it didn't leave the factory on wires either. :-)

Good to see most of the wrong things on the car in 2006 corrected by Oct.2010. Except the wooden floors and carpets of an alloy bodied car come all the way out and cover the sill. The restored car seems to still have the floors and sills of a later steel bodied car.
