For sale at Clayton Classics, Coventry, Price: £84,995
claytonclassics.co.uk/car-showroom/1954-xk120

Manufactured in January 1954 this car was originally sold to a company in Ilford, Essex on its original number plate HJN 11 and in its original colour of Birch Grey. It was then purchased by a Mr. Pegg in 1967 who eventually sold the car to an American Serviceman who was awarded a number of medals of bravery during WWII and the Korean War. In 1977 the car was registered to Don Moore who was the Chief Engineer for the Jaguar Racing team. The car then went into storage until 2002 before being mechanically overhauled to its current condition.
Over £35k of maintenance has been carried out over the past 2-3 years to ensure the car is as excellent as you see it today.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
