Seller's description:

Year: 1953 Milage: 5.909 miles Chasis number: 669084

For sale beautiful 1953 Jaguar XK120FHC in the original color Lavender Gray with a red leather interior, in this color scheme this Fixed Head Coupe is delivered new by the English dealer Newsome’s in coventry to the company Adkins & Thomas from Alcester. A total of 195 coupes were built between 1951 and 1954 and it is very special that we offer an original right-hand drive coupe. There is a Heritage certificate present and the enginenumber stamped in corresponds to the certificate and the original identification plate is also mounted in the engine compartment.

In 2001 this Fixed Head Coupe was purchased by the current owner and a body off restoration started. The bodywork and the complete painting of the body was done by the company Eastend from the Netherlands. The paintwork is still in a very good condition. A large part of the built up was carried out by Lex Classics from the Netherlands. Bills of this are present. After restoration, approximately 6.000 miles were driven with the Jaguar.

As far as known, this XK120FHC has always been driven in England until its restoration. A copy of the last English registration documents is available and the English owner from Dover bought the XK in 1981 and held it until 2001. According to the papers the outsite collor of the car was black, as it was before the restoration. During the restoration, it was restored to its original color combination. As a modification, the front brakes have been converted to disk brakes. Furthermore, the XK is built to original specifications.

Sellings price € 89.500,-
