Brought back from Italy in November 2019
The previous owner entered several rallies in Italy between 1986 and 2012 including the Nuvolari in 2004 where he came 48th out of 215.
There has been restoration and repairs over the years, some not ideal, and I don't know when or where.
A good driving car on which I am hoping to improve some of the ageing parts.

I owned LUK116 back in the late 1960s. At that time its exterior was BRG, and it had a high ratio rear axle. I and a fellow XK owner did work on the mechanics and electrics, but we didn't touch the bodywork, which was in need of restoration.
Unfortunately, it lost a core plug during a high speed run, resulting in a cracked engine block. At that stage, I decided to move the vehicle on as I didn't have the time or bandwidth to undertake full restoration.
Did the engine block get repaired or replaced?
