This car is the first Special equipment XK120 built, be it RHD or LHD. Its engine number is 320 engines numbers earlier than the next special equipment engine and the car was built on the 6th May 1952 over a month earlier than the next special equipment car a LHD model built 13th June 1952. This has led to a few unusual items about the car being the first.
By june 1953 it had been fitted with a Factory "C" spec head and the big H8 carburettors its owner John Boorman went on the buy a ex works C type XKC037 later to become the Frank Gardiner car
It has been in storage in Victoria since 1970 and is in very sound condition. Purchased in December 2014 and is now in Western Australia and is undergoing a ground up concour restoration back to as it was raced in the early 1950's.
    A most exciting car
Just think 3 chassis number later was the Jabekke XK120 so they probably say on the factory floor together

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
