The complete rust free rolling chassis including steering column for this car is in Western Australia.
Long term plans are to build an exact copy LWT XK120 ie an LT "Silverstone" car given proximity of chassis number to the 2 original cars 660741 and 660748.

What ever body it may have, surely not 660949

The original blue bodyshell from 660949 was removed and a brand new body shell fitted to this chassis and the original blue bodyshell including all exterior panels bonnet and doors with exception of boot lid sold and these have been fitted to RHD chassis number 660765 as seen in the above photo. I can send more photos of the body shell as purchased if you like.

Why on earth would anyone exchange the body of a steel XK? Makes no sense at all.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
