Ebay item 10/25/17 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1951-Jaguar-XK120-OTS/302481969836
Classified Ad price: £122,000
Sellers description:
1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS.
Chassis Number: 660664
Registration number: ERJ685
A lovely restored example finished in splendid British Racing Green coachwork. To the interior is fine biscuit hide & brown carpets.
The car was supplied new via Glovers of Harrogate in 1951. A good quantity of bills come with the car showing significant recent expenditure. The car is fitted with an excellent black canvas hood. A useful boot mounted luggage rack is also installed. Up front an after market Kenlowe fan takes care of additional cooling duties.
Twin spot lamps are fitted as are stone guards to the headlamps. A leather bonnet strap keeps the bonnet in its appointed place. Chrome wire wheels with knock-off spinners are fitted all round. A set of harness style seat belts have been installed with a nod to modern safety. A spare is found in the boot along with a hammer for removing the wheel spinners. A full split tonneau cover obscures the cockpit when leaving the car with the roof down.
Overall the car is in very fine condition with a light patina of use giving the car a very authentic & genuine feel. The engine starts readily & pulls strongly in all gears via the original Moss 'box. Indicated mileage since restoration is a scant 2403 miles. It has in recent years formed part of a lage collection of cars at a manor house in Kent where it saw regular but very sparing use.

For way over £100k, I would expect the trimming to have been better: the seats are terrible.

yes the seats are terrible my guess is someone brought a trim kit and tried to fit themselves
