From Anders Ditlev Clausager in his book Jaguar XK 120 In Detail:

"660529 120 OTS RHD. Manufactured Jan 51. To Claparede in Geneva, Switzerland, for Hugo Frey. This became the Beutler cabriolet. The style of the car was similar to contemporary Beutler bodies on chassis from other British car makers such as Bristol and Jowett. Originally pale blue, it was displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in 1952. It was quickly re-painted dark red and registered SO 3651 - unless, of course, Beutler built two similar cars, which would account for one of the other chassis-only deliveries to Switzerland. It still exists in Switzerland and is still dark red. Later registrations have been ZH 2366 and ZH 19495."

This Jaguar XK 120 SS was only built once by coachbuilder Beutler from Thun. It was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in 1952 and has a rare aluminum body which is listed in the Beutler logbook as number 1078/660529. The first owner was Frey AG in Solothurn. It was already restored more than 20 years ago and is in very good condition – Matching number. What do you want more ?
