NWB71 appeared in the 1963 film The Damned and at the end of the film was driven into Portland Harbour at Wyke Regis by the Oliver Reed character (in reality, by a stunt driver). The driver was recovered but I'd be astonished if the car has survived. It's a tough watch, almost as traumatic as the ending of the Jean Simmons 1953 film Angel Face.
