Car was the subject of an article in Jaguar world Sept/Oct 1993 that writes of details of the original owner and his involvement with Jaguar. It's believed that racing driver Mike Hawthorn drove EDO 120 but not competitively.

This vehicle EDO 120 has now ben completely restored by Marksdanes of Evercreech (engine work by Sigma Engineering). The car is now Gunmetal metallic with Burgundy leather and hood, and burgundy painted wires. Restoration was completed in 3Q 2013.

If we talk about Gunmetal , as declared in actual condition, , we must take a note that it is a very rare color in the 120s, and surely not the shade of the car pictured, but it should be a light silver grey with some vanishing light blu inside. i have the original period sample on metal by Jaguar. Confirmed by the leading expert in alloy 120 in US ( I sent him a copy of my sample to have a cross reference with his car's original paint )
