I have owned this car since I inherited it from my father in 1986. He had only owned it for about 18 months (acquired from Straight Six in Edgeware, UK). Info is accurate but '60s logbook shows engine W2449-7 so perhaps W2622-8 is an error? November 1950 car for UK market would surely have 7:1 compression and hence 7 not 8 in engine number. Unless, of course, it was fitted with W22622-8 at some other point in its life. Who knows!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
