This car is mentioned in Jaguar Driver magazine October 1973 page 19, where the owner, Jim TAYLOR of Queensland Australia states that the car was sold new in February 1951 by Brysons in Sydney and he believes the original colour was red (white now). The engine number is W1948-7. He states that being an early car the sidelights are the chrome detachable sort and the car is fitted with an ENV axle. He stated he was the fourth owner and he was planning to restore it to brand-new condition
