Initially used by Jaguar as a demonstration car and possibly the 1950 Earls Court Motor Show car, then sold as a used car. Raced by Leslie Johnson in the Silverstone Production Car race on 5 May 1951, finishing fifth. Also driven in the 1951 Alpine Rally. Subsequently sold second-hand to Sanderson & Holmes, Derby, UK.

This car was also fitted with engines W1543-8 and W2683-7.
