This factory Jabbeke replica was delivered new to Brylaws of Melbourne in early 1951. The car has been used enthusiastically throughout its life, with restoration and repairs when required. The car today is presented in the style of the Ecurie Ecosse racers of the period with a 'C' Type spec engine with twin 2" sand-cast SU carburettors, improved cylinder head, 9.0:1 compression, balanced bottom end, tubular exhaust manifolds and many other period improvements.
These include Racing bucket seats and aero screens. Upgrades to the suspension, brakes and gearbox, all add to the driving experience. The performance and handling are a joy to behold.
Carefully prepared and developed over many years with just the right amount of patina, its like putting on your favourite pair of driving gloves. This car will really appeal to the die-hard Jaguar enthusiast.
