McGrath & Elmgreen describes this car on page 46 of “The Jaguar XK in Australia”.

This 120 was delivered new by Melbourne Jaguar agents Brylaw to Australian Grand Prix winner Stan Jones, father of 1981 Formula One World Champion Alan Jones.

By 1971 the car was little used and registration last expired in 1974. The car was last seen, in need of restoration, though on display at the Australian Grand Prix in 1996.

Factory RHD and matching numbers with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, this XK120 is a splendid candidate for restoration, with the note that the engine operates properly.
