How does one start to describe a car such as this. A rare car anyway, the Jaguar XK150 fixed head coupe - as there were only 1368 built in right hand drive format, but this one is unbelievable - 24000 MILES FROM NEW!
The present private owner and vendor is the third owner of the car and the vehicle was taken off the road in 1969 by the virtue of the previous owners bad health, a Mr. Foulkes, and his wife would then not sell the car as he died shortly afterwards. In 1987 she offered the car to a museum who negotiated the sale on the present owners behalf and the car was in truly outstanding condition. It ran but needed new tyres, chassis rubbers and brake calipers before it would pass an M.O.T. Although the paintwork was slightly faded there was no corrosion at all and so the car underwent a bare metal respray in the original colour of Dove Grey, new chromework and a new headlining.
After much effort the original number was obtained for the car as title to it had been 'lost' during storage but the car still has the original green log book. The car is today sold with that number, which is transferable but should stay with the car, and the original and now very rare Tool Roll and the much discarded petrol pump shield.
As documentation shows, it is probably fair to say that there is not a lower mileage example in the world - a unique opportunity.
