- Delivered new in the UK
- Engine rebuilt circa 1990
Finished in Old English White with red leather interior, this wonderful right hand drive XK150 fixed head coupé was supplied new in the UK by Henlys. This particular example is certainly a testament to Jaguars endurance success at Le Mans having covered its miles over a number of continents during its lifetime. The car previously belonged to a Norwegian diplomat in Nairobi, Kenya. It seems he had a passion for Jaguars, owning a 3.8-litre Mark 2 in addition to this XK. The car travelled to Africa via Switzerland and then back to Norway, before eventually ending up in France, most recently returning to the UK. Dating back to the late 1980s, the history file contains bills relating to a re-trim and an engine rebuild circa 1990, and the car also comes with an MoT certificate valid until November 2020. A set of four 4"x16" wheels and tyres is offered with car, which currently is fitted with 15" chrome wheels shod with Avon rubber. A Kenlowe electric fan is the only other notified deviation from factory specification.
Saleroom notices: please note this vehicle is now UK registered as 843 XVH.

Original UK supplied righthand drive example
Matching numbers
Presented in Old English White with red leather interior, this lovely righthand drive XK150 fixedhead coupé was supplied new in the UK by Henleys. The car spent much of its life abroad however, being the property of a Norwegian diplomat who had the car with him, along with his 3.8 litre Mk. II, in Nairobi Kenya. The car travelled to Switzerland and then back to Norway before eventually ending up in France. Last year the car was repatriated to the UK by the vendor. Benefitting from an interior retrim and an engine rebuild in the 1990’s, it still presents very well. It has not been modified and remains true to its original design, with the only mechanical alteration being the addition of a Kenlow electric fan.
This matching numbers XK is supplied with V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until November 2020 and service history right back through to the 1980’s. Righthand drive XK Jaguars from this period are very sought after and collectable and represent a usable classic giving the best of both worlds, a good investment and an enjoyable driving car.
